Here at Hope+Wellth we love the 90’s era and in 2026, there will be a move that encompasses four of our favs from that time; Nia Long, Larenz Tate, the singer Maxwell and of course the 1997 classic tale of a timeless romantic comedy about a writer (played by Larenz Tate) and a photographer (played by Nia Long), Love Jones. That’s right, Nia Long and Larenz Tate are teaming up again for their first romantic feature film since their iconic film nearly 30 years ago.
You know we love a good holiday movie over here at Hope+Wellth and just when we thought the holidays couldn’t get any warmer, Tyler Perry is back with another feel-good film that is sure to have us smiling, swooning and maybe even shedding a few happy tears. His upcoming movie, Finding Joy, is set to premiere on November 5th on Amazon Prime.
Hope+Wellth Magazine is proud to present The Art of Reinvention: Six Conversations That Remind Us That Reinvention is an Inside Job. Fall is a season of change; a time when letting go makes space for what’s next. In that spirit, we sat down with six extraordinary women who have each embraced the art of letting go and welcoming what’s next.
As women, we are constantly told to “stay true to ourselves,” to “be authentic,” and to embrace who we are.
Yet, there’s an unspoken expectation that we should also remain frozen in time. Our appearance, our values, our relationships, and even our careers should fit some idealized version of youth and perfection. But what if we could release the pressure to stay the same, to evolve gracefully in every aspect of life, and to embrace change rather than fear it?
The Women Who Raised Me
As a young girl, I grew up watching my mom, my aunts, and my grandmother juggle housework and jobs—devoting their lives to their kids, husbands, and families. Then somewhere around 50, the kids got married, they retired, and many of them faded into the background of everyone else’s lives. Some became full-time babysitters for their grandkids. Others quietly surrendered their femininity, dreams, and passion for the future.
